On 6 November 2025, the PAREMPI project took part in the AEROSOLS Workshop on Primary and Secondary Aerosol Emissions from Transport, held at IFP Energies nouvelles in Rueil-Malmaison, near Paris. The event was organised by the AEROSOLS project team, following the TaP 2025 Conference (4–6 November).
Our partners Hilkka Timonen (FMI) and Louise Ganeau (Onera) represented PAREMPI at the workshop, which brought together a diverse group of researchers, industry experts, and policymakers to discuss the latest findings on aerosol emissions from the transport sector, including both primary and secondary pollutants.
Hilkka Timonen delivered a presentation highlighting key results and insights from PAREMPI’s research on transport-related aerosol emissions and their impact on air quality. The workshop featured engaging presentations, lively discussions, and active exchanges between the participating projects. A new project REALCHEM focusing on emissions from low-carbon fuels was presented by Miikka Dal Maso from Tampere University.
Overall, the event provided a valuable opportunity to enhance collaboration between sister projects and to further strengthen the collective effort towards cleaner air and more sustainable transport solutions in Europe.
