PAREMPI Partner Tereza Červená Awarded in Young Scientist Competition

Our Czech partner IEM (Institute of Experimental Medicine of the CAS) participated in the 24th Annual Conference of the Czech Aerosol Society, held from 10–12 November 2025 in Hustopeče, Czech Republic, where experts met to share new findings in aerosol science.

During the conference, Tereza Červená, IEM presented data from the Light Duty vehicles campaign in BOSMAL, contributing important insights to PAREMPI’s work on transport emissions and air quality. The presentation, titled “Toxicity of Transport Emissions Under Subfreezing Conditions”, received excellent feedback from the scientific community.

The conference also included a competition of the best presentation for young scientists – the Dekati Award, which is traditionally sponsored by Biowell, s.r.o and includes a financial award.

As a result of this strong contribution, Tereza Červená was awarded 2nd place in the Young Scientist Presentation Competition – a remarkable achievement that highlights both the quality and relevance of the research conducted within the PAREMPI consortium.

We warmly congratulate Tereza on this recognition. Achievements like this reinforce the importance of collaborative research in advancing our understanding of emissions and their impacts.
