PAREMPI presented at the 4th ACCC Impact Week 2025

PAREMPI was presented during the 4th Atmosphere and Climate Competence Center (ACCC) Impact Week. Under the theme “Climate change and green transition as global challenges for science and society” the four-day conference took place from 22-25 April in Helsinki, Finland.

PAREMPI was presented by our project coordinator Päivi Aakko-Saksa, VTT who highlighted the project’s committment to making transportation system clean, secure, and efficient by addressing urban air pollution challenges. The global transportation sector is a major polluter and the fine particulate matter (PM2.5) emissions, main subject of the PAREMPI research are especially harmful.

The Atmosphere and Climate Competence Center (ACCC) is a Finnish Flagship constituted by the University of HelsinkiTampere UniversityUniversity of Eastern Finland and the Finnish Meteorological Institute.  Its mission is to tackle two of the most pressing global challenges of our time: climate change and declining air quality.
