The PAREMPI project was presented by Päivi Aakko-Saksa, VTT during the Road Transport Research (RTR) Conference 2025 on 11-13 February 2025 in Brussels, Belgium.

Päivi presented the latest findings from PAREMPI in a dedicated session titled “Air Quality and Particles Emissions” which took place in the afternoon of Day 1 – 11 February 2025. The season featured other projects, including Npets, LEON-T and PAREMPI sister project EASVOLEE.

During the PAREMPI presentation, Päivi Aakko-Saksa highlighed how the project advances sustainable mobility by addressing air pollution challenges and contributing to actionable solutions aligned with the EU’s goals for cleaner, more sustainable transport systems.

The conference was a great opportunity to meet with the air quality network and representatives of likeminded iniatives. It was a moment also to discuss future possible collaborations with sister project EASVOLEE. 

The RTR Conference, held annually in Brussels brought together policymakers, researchers, and innovators to showcase Europe’s most impactful road transport projects.
