PAREMPI’s Session on Transport and Air Pollution to be Featured at EGU 2025

We are delighted to share that PAREMPI will play a key role in the upcoming European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly 2025, where our session, “Transport and Air Pollution: From Real-World Emissions to Their Impacts,” has been officially accepted.

Taking place from 27 April to 2 May 2025 in Vienna, Austria, and online, the EGU General Assembly brings together geoscientists from around the world, covering all disciplines of Earth, planetary, and space sciences.

The EGU provides a forum where scientists, especially early career researchers, can present their work and discuss ideas with experts across all fields of geoscience. Our session will explore the critical intersection of transport emissions and air quality, diving into the real-world impacts of pollutants from transportation systems.

The discussions align closely with PAREMPI’s mission to advance air quality research and find innovative solutions to reduce emissions from the transport sector. Co-organized by the PAREMPI project along with AEROSOLS, EASVOLEE, and Mi-TRAP, the session will be led by conveners Christian George, Hilkka Timonen, Konstantinos Eleftheriadis, and Soheil Zeraati Rezaei, guiding impactful presentations and debates on these pressing environmental challenges.

PAREMPI project is excited to be part of this significant event, contributing to the global effort to mitigate the effects of transport emissions on air quality. We look forward to presenting our findings and fostering collaborative discussions that can lead to real-world solutions.

Stay tuned for more updates on our contributions to the session and how you can engage with our work.
