The PAREMPI project will hold its final conference and a Transport Emissions Policy Recommendations Workshop, in collaboration with its sister project EASVOLEE, on Wednesday, 10 December 2025 in Brussels, Belgium.
Since its launch in 2023, the PAREMPI consortium has explored how transport emissions contribute to air pollution, with particular emphasis on the formation of secondary PM2.5. Through field measurement campaigns across Europe, modelling, and toxicological studies, the project has generated valuable insights, published scientific articles, and developed practical tools — including the ePMI module to support emission reduction strategies.
The workshop will present the project’s key results and foster discussions on future actions for cleaner urban air, with a strong focus on policy development for air quality. EASVOLEE, focusing on semi-volatile engine emissions, will contribute to the event programme, reinforcing the collaborative effort between both projects.
